Be Smart is a car‑sharing spin‑off operating 230 electric quadricycles across Naples, Milan and Rome that needed an integrated management solution to make vehicles bookable via a mobile app, monitor charge level and location in real time, and ensure reliable, secure data for navigation and customer care. To meet these requirements Be Smart selected Webfleet and its WEBFLEET SaaS platform (TomTom Telematics) as the vendor and core technology.

Using Webfleet’s WEBFLEET platform with the WEBFLEET.connect API and LINK 510 trackers, Be Smart integrated its “e‑share” system so the app shows nearby vehicles, battery status and TomTom maps, and vehicles are activated by a dashboard card reader tied to the tracking device. The Webfleet integration gives operators a live view of the 230‑vehicle fleet, speeds up customer support, allows more requests to be handled with lower management costs, eliminates the risk of lost vehicles, prevents unauthorized trip endings and enables immediate allocation of driving fines.
