A Webfleet Case Study
B.E. Campbell, one of Australia’s largest food suppliers (supplying over 50 million kg of pork per year), faced the challenge of monitoring temperature-sensitive loads across a 26-vehicle refrigerated fleet and replacing an unintuitive telematics system that offered no route or driver-behaviour visibility. Seeking a complete, user-friendly solution, B.E. Campbell turned to Webfleet and the WEBFLEET service together with the LINK 530 tracking device and a Sensor2web temperature-monitoring integration.
Webfleet implemented an integrated solution—WEBFLEET fleet-management software with LINK 530 tracking devices paired to Sensor2web temperature sensors—giving real-time temperature data, driver behaviour and route visibility, and maintenance planning. The Webfleet deployment improved maintenance planning (reducing costs by 5%), cut downtime, provided accurate ETAs to customers, and helped B.E. Campbell win new contracts by guaranteeing product quality and service reliability.
