A Webfleet Case Study
Death Valley Towing, a small 24-hour towing company run by Lauren and Lee Richardson, inherited an almost entirely paper-based operation that relied on clipboards, three-part forms and a standalone camera — making lost information, disputes and unsafe on-road practices common. To modernize, the company adopted Webfleet fleet tracking alongside its existing Omadi system and piloted the HAAS Alert Safety Cloud to improve visibility and address acute safety risks in the towing industry.
Using Webfleet, Death Valley Towing now tracks drivers and vehicles in real time, captures photo evidence of tows, gives clients portal access to view activity and uses HAAS Alert to broadcast roadside safety warnings. Webfleet’s solution increased operational transparency, cut down back-and-forth calls with property managers and police by providing accurate ETAs and locations, and enabled monitoring of speed and aggressive driving to improve efficiency and safety.
