Swiss Post, Switzerland’s national postal service and the country’s second-largest employer, needed to modernize a cumbersome, paper‑based expense process and accurately track business-travel emissions to meet ISO 14001 requirements. Their Excel-based system caused slow approvals, lost receipts and limited visibility, so Swiss Post selected Webexpenses for a web-based expense management and carbon-tracking solution that integrates with Sage 200 and Sage 50.

Webexpenses deployed its expense platform with real-time carbon tracking plus SMS and credit-card modules, training accounts staff in about half a day and linking to Swiss Post’s finance systems. The result: Swiss Post achieved ISO 14001 certification for its UK sites, gained concrete, reportable carbon data, sped up expense processing, and rolled the system out to 200+ users across Europe and the US.
