The Adecco Group, a global HR services provider with roughly 33,000 employees and over 5,500 branches, faced inefficiencies from a largely paper-based expense system—processing about 300 claims per week (~1,400 per month) with frequent lost receipts, VAT reclaim problems and limited audit trails. After acquiring the Spring Group, which already used webexpenses, Adecco chose to roll out the Webexpenses expense management solution across its offices to gain better control, visibility and efficiency.
Webexpenses delivered a rapid, problem‑free cloud implementation that integrated with Adecco’s environment and standardized expense processes across brands. The move eliminated lost receipts, improved VAT reclaim and auditability, reduced processing and approval time, and—critically—allowed Adecco to absorb three company mergers and 600 new staff with no extra finance resources while continuing to handle the same claim volumes; features like policy reminders, mileage verification and currency conversion further cut errors and admin.
