Perfora is a digital-first D2C oral care brand founded in 2021 and headquartered in Gurugram. As a new entrant with a broad product portfolio (smart toothbrushes, dental flossers, probiotic mouthwash, whitening pens, etc.), the company needed to build early, personalized engagement to reduce cart abandonment and convert anonymous visitors into loyal customers.

Perfora joined the WebEngage Startup Program and implemented an omnichannel journey—using WebEngage’s journey designer to target users who abandoned carts after 15 minutes, identify reachable channels (Email, Web Push, SMS, WhatsApp), send personalized discounts, and follow up after 24–48 hours; it also used onsite surveys and welcome flows to convert anonymous traffic. These tactics drove an over 13% cart abandonment recovery rate and improved customer retention.
