Mortantra is a D2C bespoke Indian jewelry brand (founded 2016, Ahmedabad) that sought retention-led growth through personalized omnichannel engagement. The team faced limited marketing automation, siloed customer data, poor journey mapping and insufficient analytics, which constrained engagement, retention and conversion efforts.

Partnering with the WebEngage Startup Program, Mortantra deployed Journey Designer, web push, email, WhatsApp, onsite surveys and product recommendations to run abandoned-cart/product journeys, welcome funnels and personalized upsell campaigns. Outcomes included a 46.34% boost in click-through revenue from web push, a 10.5% reduction in checkout abandonment, a 15.02% lift in CTR from journeys, 2× the revenue from journeys versus one-time campaigns, and improved email open and conversion rates.
