SlicePay is a digital payments platform that lets college students buy everyday products on credit without collateral. To boost operational efficiency and lift conversions across its funnel, SlicePay focused on speeding the time from sign-up to first order by segmenting users into two groups—those who signed up but didn’t apply for credit, and those who had credit approved but hadn’t transacted—and building targeted workflows to re-engage each group.
Using WebEngage’s Journey Designer, SlicePay automated personalized, multi-channel campaigns (in-app and push for sign-ups, SMS and email for approved users) triggered by user actions. The campaigns cut average time-to-first-order from 72 to 26 hours (a 64% reduction) and increased monthly sign-up-to-first-order conversions by 58%.
