RangDe is India’s pioneering peer-to-peer lending platform that connects social investors with underserved borrowers to expand affordable credit. The Bengaluru-based NBFC struggled to attract and reactivate users, convert registrations into social investors, get drop-offs to complete KYC and repeat purchases, automate engagement, retain investors, and lacked advanced real-time segmentation and analytics.
By joining the WebEngage Startup Program and integrating its marketing automation, RangDe expanded channels from email to SMS, WhatsApp and app push, built 7+ Journey Designer flows (including a KYC reactivation sequence), and adopted real-time product analytics and segmentation. Within five months this approach increased monthly active users by 26%, achieved a 26.6% email open rate, and raised signup-to-KYC conversions by 7.7%.
