Travelxp is a Mumbai-based travel infotainment company (founded 2011) that blends OTT/TV content with OTA bookings via a “Watch & Book” model to turn discovery into travel. Facing high drop-offs, fragmented user journeys, and limited real-time behavioral triggers, Travelxp needed a scalable automation solution to re-engage inactive users, unify multi-channel communication, and personalize experiences across web and app.

Using WebEngage’s Journey Designer, advanced segmentation, real-time event tracking and multi-channel automation (email, WhatsApp, SMS, push), Travelxp built behavior-driven journeys, ran A/B tests and cohort analysis, and automated timely nudges. The results: a 28.75% open rate on OTT show promotions, flight conversions rose from 3% to 7%, 5% conversion on OTT promos, and a 10% year‑on‑year revenue increase—outcomes the team attributes to WebEngage’s personalization and orchestration capabilities.
