Learndirect, the UK’s largest skills, training and apprenticeship provider, faced major change after the 2017 Apprenticeship Reforms and levy. Their existing LMS was heavily customised, inflexible and not scalable, while tight contract deadlines and limited internal resources meant they needed a fast, reliable upgrade to support growing apprenticeship demand without disrupting learners.

Webanywhere implemented a branded Totara 2.9 platform with custom dashboards, reports, programme configuration and content migration, plus CSV user/enrolment sync, forums and classroom management. The solution was delivered in three months using minimal learndirect staff, migrated 1,500 learners across seven programmes with no interruption, produced two new maths and English modules on schedule, and proved highly cost‑effective.
