Inditex, the global fashion group behind brands such as Zara, needed a modern way to share staff-generated training across its hundreds of UK and Ireland stores. Webanywhere developed INview, a responsive video-based platform built on the 70:20:10 social learning model that captures informal on-the-job and social learning. Employees get secure personalized pages, can upload, rate, comment and like content, and managers receive analytics on popular resources and issues; the platform was launched to 200+ safety champions in 2013 and delivered benefits such as just-in-time mobile training, improved knowledge sharing and employee insights — with an estimated 80% setup cost saving using open-source technologies.
