A Webanywhere Case Study

Engaging and standardised training to 700 retail staff members across the UK with Totara

Hotter Comfort Shoes, the largest UK shoe manufacturer with 76 outlets and over 700 retail staff, needed a way to deliver consistent, high-quality training to widely distributed teams. They required easy-to-use induction and starter modules and a way for line managers to monitor team progress across multiple locations.

Webanywhere Workplace implemented a custom-themed Totara LMS, simplifying the interface, designing onboarding content and setting up reporting hierarchies so managers could track store and advisor progress. Branded internally as “Next Steps” with in-house “shoe-per heroes,” the platform was successfully rolled out across the retail estate with strong feedback and enabled a planned expansion to 150 contact centre staff.
