Emerald Group Publishing, founded in 1967, is a global publisher managing nearly 300 journals, 2,500+ books and hundreds of teaching cases from its Bingley headquarters. Faced with an outdated, hard-to-edit LMS that drove low user engagement, Emerald engaged Webanywhere to design a modern, scalable replacement.

Webanywhere delivered a fully branded Totara-based LMS that is SCORM-compliant, integrates with modern elearning editors and included staff training. The new platform improved induction and staff engagement, enabled instant reporting, cut module-editing time from days to half a day, hosts 16 e-learning modules with capacity for 1,000 users, and has led Emerald to consider expanding LMS use across HR.
