A Web3Auth Case Study

Accelerating Blockchain Adoption Amongst Mainstream Users with Skyweaver

SkyWeaver, built by Horizon Blockchain Games, is a blockchain trading card game designed to bring a polished, mainstream-friendly experience to Ethereum and Polygon. Its challenge was making wallet access and onboarding feel as simple and familiar as a Web2 app, without exposing players to complex blockchain jargon. Web3Auth helped address this with its authentication infrastructure, which was integrated into the Sequence Wallet used by SkyWeaver players.

Web3Auth’s Distributed Key Generation (DKG) powered social and passwordless login as one of the keys in Sequence’s multi-key wallet, enabling sign-in via Google, Facebook, Discord, Twitch, or Apple ID. This made onboarding faster, reduced confusion and support tickets, and let players jump straight into the game. The case study doesn’t provide numeric metrics, but it reports a significantly smoother user experience and lower onboarding friction thanks to Web3Auth.
