GlobalFoundries, a leading global semiconductor manufacturer, faced challenges with a manual process for tracking its test flow, which limited customer visibility into request progress and hindered equipment utilization and resource planning. To address this, they partnered with Web Synergies for a customized solution based on the vendor's existing iLab product, a Lab Information Management System (LIMS).

Web Synergies implemented a user-friendly online capacity booking system using an MVC platform and MS SQL Server. This solution provided real-time visibility into the booking and test flow process, which optimized equipment utilization and improved the productivity of test lab operations. The Agile implementation, developed with client user champions, successfully enhanced tracking and planning for GlobalFoundries.
