Air Hong Kong - Customer Case Study

Air Hong Kong, a cargo airline based in Hong Kong, faced the challenge of an inefficient, paper-based system for managing its aviation manuals. The manual revision process was lengthy, taking up to a month, and required qualified personnel to spend time on unqualified administrative tasks. To address this, the airline partnered with vendor Web Manuals to digitize its manuals and implement an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) application.

The solution implemented by Web Manuals digitized the entire manual lifecycle with automated workflows. This allowed manual owners to make changes directly in the system, which then automatically handled revisions, notifications, and compliance linking. As a result, Web Manuals helped Air Hong Kong reduce its manual revision process from a month to just three or four days, significantly increasing efficiency and moving the airline closer to its goal of becoming completely paperless.
