Wealth Wizards, a UK-based online financial planning and advice company, needed to secure its Kubernetes-based microservice platform on AWS while quickly identifying vulnerabilities, controlling ingress traffic, and giving auditors full visibility into cloud activity. Working with Weaveworks, the company focused on strengthening security and compliance across its dynamic, cloud-native environment using Weave Net.

Weaveworks implemented Weave Net to enforce Kubernetes Network Policies, giving Wealth Wizards fine-grained control over pod-to-pod traffic and the ability to extend security beyond the Kubernetes cluster to legacy components. The solution was easy to deploy with a one-command setup and translated policy rules into iptables controls on each node, helping Wealth Wizards improve microservice security and compliance readiness with very little added operational overhead.
