Fidelity Investments, one of the world’s largest asset managers, wanted to modernize cloud application delivery across more than 500 applications while meeting strict security, governance, and compliance requirements. Working with Weaveworks, the company aimed to standardize Kubernetes across multiple teams, environments, and public clouds without slowing down innovation or creating hard-to-manage “snowflake” clusters.

Weaveworks helped Fidelity build the FIDEKS platform using GitOps on Kubernetes, with configuration models and cluster lifecycle management kept in Git for self-service, auditable, and reproducible deployments across AWS EKS, Azure, and on-premises environments. The result was faster platform provisioning and deployment, reduced lead time for changes, and improved resilience, cutting mean time to recovery from hours to minutes while maintaining strong regulatory controls.
