Curve, a UK financial services company serving more than 1.3 million customers, needed a more secure, auditable, and compliant way to manage its Kubernetes environments. As a payment processor subject to strict PCI requirements, the Platform team struggled with manual YAML updates, limited observability, and the need for faster disaster recovery. Weaveworks helped Curve move toward GitOps using Weave Flux and Helm.

With Weaveworks’ GitOps approach, Curve automated deployments from Git, standardized Kubernetes operations with Helm charts, and improved security through repo controls such as merge request approvals and CODEOWNERS. The results were significant: deployment speed and frequency each improved by 50%, developer productivity rose by 75%, and MTTR dropped from days to hours. Curve also reported easier onboarding for new engineers and faster recovery from major incidents.
