Altius Dental, a dental DSO operating 25+ practices—many in rural areas—faced limited visibility into call volume and patient communication quality, plus frequent phone and internet outages that disrupted service. To address these challenges they partnered with Weave, deploying Weave’s unified communication tools (mobile app, call analytics, call recording, texting and Email Marketing) to capture actionable data and keep staff connected during outages.
Weave was rolled out across all locations to provide real-time call analytics, recorded calls for QA, outbound call tracking, and centralized call routing for emergencies. As a result, Altius redirected calls across 25+ locations to coordinate emergency treatment, gained visibility into schedule-building calls and patient experience, strategically staffed for peak call times, and reduced missed calls by over 50% (from >13% to <6%) while lowering overhead during COVID-19.
