The customer, Floboost, an agency for the Rainspotter weather app, faced the challenge of efficiently driving App Store installs via Meta and Google Ads. Their objective was to reach users in the UK, Ireland, and Denmark at the most relevant moment—during rainy weather—when potential users would be more likely to be indoors and engaged on their devices.

WeatherAds implemented a solution using multi-location weather-triggered automations for the ad campaigns. They performed A/B testing to determine the optimal rainfall condition for activating ads, finding that light rain provided the best balance of volume and cost-effectiveness. The ongoing campaign, particularly successful in Denmark, continues to generate high impression volume at a great cost per install, with the client reporting great satisfaction with the results.
