Havas Media, the programmatic trading desk for the Havas Media Group, faced a challenge for their client Kia. They needed to inject contextual relevancy into their display ads by dynamically changing the creative based on a viewer's real-time local weather conditions to promote various car models and encourage test drive registrations. They partnered with the weather activation platform WeatherAds to implement this solution.

WeatherAds provided a plug-and-play solution integrated with Display & Video 360, enabling location-specific ad delivery. They created dynamic creative templates with messaging and artwork for different weather scenarios. The campaign performed extremely well, achieving a click-through rate that was three times above the market average and significantly increasing traffic to the landing page, leading to it becoming an ongoing initiative for Kia.
