Elkjøp, a large Nordic consumer electronics retailer, and its media agency Dentsu partnered with Google's programmatic accounts team to tackle a challenge: increasing sales of weather-sensitive products like electric grills, dehumidifiers, and air purifiers. They wanted to leverage real-time weather conditions to engage customers at the most pertinent moments and turned to the vendor WeatherAds for a solution.

WeatherAds provided the technology to execute a display media plan in Display & Video 360 (DV360), delivering location-specific ads triggered by real-time weather data. This solution resulted in a 178% increase in conversions compared to a standard campaign, generating 2,788 additional sales.
