Ariens, a manufacturer of outdoor products including the best-selling Ariens Sno-Thro snow thrower, faced the challenge of manually creating ads to capitalize on weather-related sales opportunities. Their digital marketing team needed an automated solution to serve relevant ads before, during, and after heavy snowfall to increase engagement and conversions. They turned to the vendor WeatherAds to implement a weather-triggered advertising strategy.

WeatherAds implemented a solution using weather-based rules for display campaigns. This included creating "pre-storm" ads that triggered ahead of snowfall and "post-storm" ads for after the event. Over a four-month campaign, this strategy delivered over 11.7 million impressions and 48,100 clicks for Ariens at an average cost of just $0.27 per click.
