Qwello, a fast-emerging urban e-charging brand from Munich, sought to build on its initial success by redefining its charging station solutions. Their challenge involved addressing complex urban infrastructure demands, enhancing the user experience, and strengthening their brand in a competitive market. They partnered with the industrial design vendor FLUID to develop their next-generation product.

FLUID designed a new family of versatile charging stations with a smaller footprint and an iconic triangular design. The solution incorporated intuitive visual feedback elements and was engineered for durability, vandalism resistance, and straightforward maintenance. This collaboration successfully positioned Qwello as a leader in the European e-charging infrastructure market, resulting in a product that won prestigious awards including the reddot and iF Design Award in 2026.
