Melitta validates pour-over concepts faster with FLUID in lean workshops

FLUID partnered with Melitta to design a remarkable electric pour over coffee maker with an integrated grinder for their new product range. The challenge was to rethink pour over coffee by respecting its culture and traditions, creating a product that would stand out in the market.

The solution implemented by FLUID was the EPOS machine, which simulates manual brewing. Through a customer-centric and lean ideation process that included co-creation workshops and virtual landing page testing for early feedback, FLUID created a distinct design paradigm. The final product combines aesthetics and functionality with an open architecture, a rotating spout, and a premium color and material finish, successfully distinguishing it from classic filter coffee machines.
