KaVo Dental, an international leader in the dental industry, approached FLUID with the challenge of designing the next generation of their DIAGNOcam intraoral camera. The task was to create a design that would visually integrate into the KaVo product family, appearing both professional and trustworthy while also being non-technical and approachable for use in modern dentist practices.

FLUID solved this by creating a lightweight, highly ergonomic, and empathic design for the DIAGNOcam Vision Full HD. The solution featured seamless shapes as a natural extension of the hand and contrasting materials to emphasize scientific innovation. Through iterative usability testing, FLUID optimized the device for fatigue-free working and an efficient workflow, allowing dentists to generate multiple types of diagnostic images with a single click. The resulting design reassures patients and contributes to a more comfortable experience at the dentist.
