Eumetsat unifies satellite data, services and knowledge into one portal with FLUID, accessible 24/7, 365 days a year

EUMETSAT, a European operational satellite agency for monitoring weather, climate, and the environment, approached FLUID with the challenge of creating a new digital platform to unify its vast amount of satellite data and digital services. The goal was to make this complex data more accessible and comprehensible for its diverse user base, which includes governmental institutions, weather stations, and universities.

FLUID designed and implemented the new EUMETSAT User Portal, a solution featuring a clean dashboard and an overarching search experience. This platform unifies all satellite data, services, and informational content with a single login. To streamline development, FLUID reused existing coded components, reducing the frontend workload. The result is a holistic and easily navigable portal that provides users with quick access to data, multiple subscription options, and a dedicated knowledge base to help them understand and interpret the satellite information.
