Case Study: Newstead House enhances visitor engagement with Flip

A Flip Case Study

Newstead House increases visitor engagement with Flip's QR-code microsite

Newstead House, Brisbane's oldest standing European residence, sought to modernize its visitor experience. The historic site needed a more engaging way for patrons to interact with its rich artefacts and history, moving beyond static exhibits. They partnered with Flip to develop a digital solution that would provide detailed information seamlessly and improve navigation throughout the property.

Flip designed and developed a mobile-friendly microsite for Newstead House. The solution used strategically placed QR codes that visitors could scan to instantly access historical context, visuals, and multimedia content for each exhibit. The microsite also included a built-in navigation feature. Following the launch, Newstead House reported an increase in visitor engagement with the exhibits. Flip continues to work with the client to explore adding more interactive features.
