University of Pennsylvania identifies 40,000 donors and drives $600M in commitments with WealthEngine

The University of Pennsylvania's decentralized Department of Development and Alumni Relations needed to focus its fundraising research efforts on its most promising prospective donors. To meet this challenge, they partnered with vendor WealthEngine to conduct electronic prospect screenings.

Using WealthEngine's solution, the university was able to electronically screen prospects and capture useful results for its staff. This process led to the identification of approximately 40,000 individuals capable of significant donations. As a result of WealthEngine's screenings, these newly discovered prospects made campaign commitments totaling about $600 million.
