A WealthEngine Case Study
The Humane Society of the United States, an animal welfare organization, needed a comprehensive view of its large donor base of over 50,000 individuals to improve its targeting efficiency. Their challenge was to understand donors on both a macro and individual level to increase major gifts. They partnered with WealthEngine for its predictive modeling solutions.
WealthEngine implemented several predictive models for major giving, planned giving, and annual giving, along with a cluster model to gauge each constituent's connection level. As a result of working with WealthEngine, the organization doubled both the number and the value of major gifts received. They also grew their legacy program membership from 600 to 675 and built a case to hire additional development staff.
