Luxury Jewelry Company, a leading independent luxury jewelry brand, needed objective, timely and accurate data to decide which European city to expand into and access additional luxury consumers. They engaged Wealth-X for analytics and modeling support, seeking a proprietary tool to help stakeholders test scenarios and prioritize emerging markets.

Wealth-X built a customized Opportunity Index using 20+ component inputs from Wealth‑X’s proprietary data, secondary research and public sources, grouped into five weighted themes (Wealth, General Luxury, Jewelry, Lifestyle and Economy) and demonstrated four scenario models. The analysis showed Scandinavian cities as fast-growing markets but highlighted bigger opportunity in Italian cities—Rome’s demand for fine jewelry was 14× supply—and Wealth‑X’s tool enabled the client to select a city for expansion and open up a new cohort of luxury consumers.
