How We Select Helped Svevia Increase the Proportion of Female Applicants for the Role of Road Workers

Svevia, one of Sweden’s largest construction companies, wanted to recruit more female candidates for road worker roles across the country. To address this challenge, Svevia worked with We Select using employer brand-strengthening job advertising on Facebook and Instagram to reach both active and passive candidates.

We Select implemented a three-step campaign: first building awareness with inspirational and informative video ads, then re-advertising to interested candidates with the best aspects of the role, and finally encouraging the most engaged prospects to apply. The campaign delivered an average of 85 applications per post, including 10 applications from women per post and 3 qualified female applications per position, resulting in 3x more qualified applications from women compared to the past.
