Ricola, the long-standing cough-drop and mint brand, wanted to move beyond its traditional brick-and-mortar model and expand into e-commerce, especially Amazon, but had limited online experience and needed help controlling resellers and protecting its brand. Ricola engaged WBX Commerce and its WBX Insights platform for expertise in launching and growing an Amazon business.

WBX Commerce executed a channel cleanup, optimized and consolidated listings (A+ content, Storefronts, merged ASINs), and used WBX Insights’ trending, halo and market-basket data to target high-performing keywords, reallocate ad spend, test virtual bundles and implement pricing automation and multi-packs—then transitioned Ricola to its own Seller Central account. The work opened a new revenue stream, improved Buy Box performance and visibility, and helped Ricola achieve a 57% year‑over‑year sales increase in 2021.
