A Wazoku Case Study
The Geneva Learning Foundation, a Swiss non-profit, faced the urgent challenge of enabling frontline healthcare workers to share life-saving practices as the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted global immunization services. They needed a way to rapidly crowdsource and adapt local innovations across a worldwide network. To address this, the foundation utilized the idea management platform from vendor Wazoku to create the COVID-19 Peer Hub.
Using Wazoku's platform, the foundation built an Ideas Engine for sharing and rating ideas, peer learning exercises, and an impact accelerator. This solution connected thousands of professionals, allowing them to collaboratively tackle issues like vaccine hesitancy and missed vaccination opportunities. The results were significant, with over 6,000 professionals participating from 96 countries, sharing more than 1,200 ideas in the first ten days. Importantly, Wazoku's platform helped one-third of participants implement tangible improvements to local vaccination services by the end of 2020.
