A Wazoku Case Study
RBS EnterprisingU, run by Find Invest Grow and sponsored by the RBS Group, is the world’s largest university business plan competition, inviting students to pitch for up to £25,000. The organisers needed a platform that could handle lengthy, complex business-plan submissions, enable collaboration with advisors and investors, and enforce strict role-based visibility so entrants could only view their own ideas while judges and investors could access all entries.
Wazoku’s Idea Spotlight provided a tailored solution — handling complex forms, centralising data, enabling advisors to comment and collaborate, and enforcing role-specific visibility with built-in reporting and analytics. The 2012 competition reached 1.6 million students, attracted over 10,000 entries, gave young entrepreneurs practical feedback and funding, and allowed FIG and RBS to efficiently manage and audit thousands of submissions; the programme continued using Idea Spotlight in 2013.
