Noblis, a nonprofit science, technology and strategy organisation in Reston, VA, needed an enterprise-wide idea platform where employees could publish challenges, refine ideas iteratively, and select teams to develop concepts through multiple stages. Facing the choice to build or buy, the organisation sought a solution that met strict security and implementation requirements while being easy for SharePoint users to adopt.

Noblis selected Wazoku’s Idea Spotlight from the SharePoint Marketplace, leveraging seamless SharePoint integration, SSO and customisable workflows and working closely with Wazoku and internal IT/security during onboarding. The platform drove strong results: 385 ideas generated, 1,000 people-hours saved, over 200 ideas and 600+ comments in the most active month, a portfolio of 20+ R&D projects with ~30% funded, and engagement from more than half the organisation.
