Aviva, a UK-based multinational insurance company with 35,000+ employees across 18 markets, ran an annual ideas tournament called the Customer Cup to improve customer experience. The programme had become admin-heavy, dominated by UK entries and requiring four staff to manage, so Aviva sought a web-based solution to automate processes and better engage international teams.
Aviva moved the Customer Cup onto the Wazoku idea management platform, adding collaborative and multilingual features and running a strong launch campaign with Wazoku’s support. The result: nearly 4,000 participants (double previous years), 680 ideas submitted (a 40% increase), the programme now managed by one person, and measurable millions in benefits and improved global engagement and ROI.
