Branch pivots to D2C, delivering $1.5m in monthly sales after just 8 months

Branch, a workplace furniture company founded by Greg Hayes, faced a major challenge when Covid-19 caused its B2B sales to disappear almost overnight. To survive, Branch pivoted quickly to direct-to-consumer sales for home office equipment, but the rapid launch created an immediate need for inventory and growth capital. With support from Wayflyer, Branch was able to buy more inventory, invest further in marketing, and grow its new D2C channel at speed. The results were strong: Branch increased monthly sales from $0 in April 2020 to $1.5M by January 2021, reaching over $1.5M in monthly revenue after just eight months.
