Case Study: Mumbai Port Trust achieves resilient CCTV video transmission with Wavesight wireless connectivity

Mumbai Port Trust ensures zero-intervention CCTV connectivity with Wavesight

The Mumbai Port Trust required a robust wireless solution to transmit CCTV video feeds from the coastal Gateway of India site to its control room, a challenge due to severe environmental factors like high-velocity winds and water exposure. Vendor Wavesight provided an industrial-grade wireless transmission system combining point-to-point and point-to-multipoint radios to address this need.

Wavesight's solution delivered continuous, high-quality video transmission that remained reliable even in adverse weather, enhancing the port's security and operational oversight. This resilient network provided improved asset management and situational awareness for Mumbai Port Trust without requiring manual intervention.
