Vanenburg used WaveMaker to build a solution that Digitizes NRD’s Sustainable Forestry Processes

NRD S.A., a Liechtenstein-based sustainable forestry company working in Liberia, needed to digitize and secure its logging and verification processes to curb widespread illegal logging. They partnered with Vanenburg, a Dutch software firm, to create a mobile-first system able to tag trees with barcodes, capture GPS and measurement data in remote forests, and operate reliably with no network connectivity.

Vanenburg built a mobile application on the WaveMaker low-code platform that stores data in offline tables, captures GPS and barcode inputs, and syncs efficiently to a cloud portal when connectivity is available. The result is a user-friendly, scalable, data-driven solution that enables seamless offline-to-online syncing, real-time tracking of approvals, and improved traceability and control of sustainable logging operations.
