The Ibis Confluence hotel faced a challenge with its manually operated, non-connected air conditioning system. The lack of a building management system meant equipment issues were only found through manual checks or customer complaints, posing risks to guest comfort, energy efficiency, and operational costs. The hotel partnered with Wattsense to modernize its HVAC infrastructure.

Wattsense provided a connectivity solution, installing a Box that connected the existing Aermec heat pump via Modbus. This Box also bridged Adeunis LoRaWAN sensors monitoring temperature and humidity to the system. The collected data was consolidated in the Wattsense cloud and transmitted to the Energisme platform. This solution provided the technician with real-time data and remote control, allowing for proactive maintenance, reduced operating costs, and improved customer comfort and energy performance.
