Linn, an audio manufacturer based near Glasgow with around 170 employees, designs and builds high-end turntables, streamers, speakers, and amps in-house. As its test output grew more complex across multiple manufacturing disciplines, the team struggled to track and standardize data using manual Excel reports, making traceability and root-cause analysis difficult. WATS was brought in to help connect their existing test data.

WATS integrated seamlessly with Linn’s existing Oracle-based test platform and provided live, customizable reporting and real-time visibility across every stage of manufacturing. This let the quality team drill down quickly to component-level issues, halt production when needed, and track individual parts and trends over time. The result was faster problem-solving, better traceability, stronger supplier follow-up, and even support for product improvements such as reducing harmonic distortion in a device.
