How Braze embeds sustainability into every part of its business

Braze, a leading customer engagement platform, wanted to embed sustainability across the business but lacked a clear roadmap, in-house climate expertise, and the internal systems to turn ambition into action. To build a science-aligned program, Braze partnered with Watershed and used the Watershed platform and CEDA by Watershed for measurement, reporting, and planning.

With support from Watershed, Braze completed three emissions footprints, adopted CEDA for more granular global insights, published its first ESG and TCFD reports, and secured approval for near-term science-based targets. Watershed also helped Braze execute a VPPA that funded five solar projects in Michigan and procure high-quality EACs to cover nearly all global offices, creating measurable climate impact and embedding emissions data into company-wide decision-making.
