Kurita Group, a global industrial water and process treatment company, partnered with Waterplan to improve how it measures water risk across production facilities worldwide. The company needed a more accurate, scalable way to assess water-related risks because public tools were often outdated, too generic, and not granular enough for specific sites.

With Waterplan’s platform, Kurita Group implemented near real-time monitoring across several facilities in Asia and Europe, combining water accounting, production, financial, and catchment data to quantify risk more accurately. As a result, Kurita improved internal stakeholder alignment, reduced the time and cost of evaluating water risk, transitioned to monthly monitoring in 3 countries, and gained faster, more confident decision-making through better visibility and data quality.
