Bocar, an automotive original equipment manufacturer, needed a better way to understand and manage water risk across its North American facilities as part of its sustainability goals. With Waterplan, Bocar implemented a two-step water risk process that combined screening, in-depth assessment, and scenario modeling to quantify risks and guide mitigation planning. Waterplan also helped streamline reporting, align with frameworks like CDP, and run training workshops to raise internal awareness. As a result, Bocar gained centralized access to high-quality data, clearer site-level risk profiles, and prioritized mitigation actions to support its goal of improving water use efficiency by at least 20% by 2030.
