Star Cargo, a UK distribution company with eight locations, needed a more flexible and secure way to share business-critical data across its growing group of autonomous subsidiaries. WatchGuard implemented Firebox and XTM appliances, including the M300, T30, XTM 330, and XTM 21, along with centralized management and services such as VPN, Intrusion Prevention, Application Control, Data Loss Prevention, Gateway Antivirus, spamBlocker, and WebBlocker. The result was a stable, secure WAN infrastructure with easy branch office VPN setup and consistent policy control across all sites, giving Star Cargo the flexibility to tailor internet access by department and time of day while simplifying security management.
