Shari’s Restaurants, the largest full-service restaurant chain in the Pacific Northwest, needed to refresh and strengthen security across 98 restaurant locations while supporting segmented guest Wi‑Fi, BYOD access, and PCI DSS compliance. To meet these needs, the company turned to WatchGuard and its Unified Threat Management platform, including XTM firewalls.

WatchGuard implemented a centralized, multi-layered security setup with XTM 810s at headquarters and XTM 26-W devices at each restaurant, delivering firewalling, application control, web filtering, antivirus, IPS, anti-spam, VPN, and guest Wi‑Fi segmentation.
