The Royal Yachting Association (RYA), the UK’s national body for boating and sailing, needed to strengthen its network security to meet PCI compliance and data loss prevention requirements while protecting thousands of online transactions and sensitive personal data. RYA turned to WatchGuard firewalls, including the XTM 810, XTM 525, and XTM 26, to support its distributed workforce and growing security needs.

WatchGuard implemented a solution that enabled APT Blocker and WebBlocker immediately, improving perimeter protection, web control, and defense in depth. Using WatchGuard Dimension, RYA gained much better visibility and simpler management through a single console, making it easier for a small IT team to stay within compliance rules. The result was a more scalable, easier-to-manage security environment with stronger protection for users and data.
